More

Compares two things and says that one exceeds the other in number or in amount: more people, more money, more water.

الطُّلَّابُ أَكْثَرُ مِنَ الْكَرَاسِيِّ

The students are more numerous than the chairs.

Most, the greater part

Followed by the name of a whole, it names the larger part of it: most people, the bulk of a thing.

أَكْثَرُ الطُّلَّابِ فِي الْمَلْعَبِ

Most of the students are on the playground.
