To go out
To pass from the inside of a place to the outside, to leave it. Said of a person, an animal or a vehicle.
خَرَجَ سَامِي مِنَ الْبَيْتِ صَبَاحًا.
Sami went out of the house in the morning.
To come from a source or a point and spread outward. Said of water, smoke, a sound, a plant sprouting.
خَرَجَ الدُّخَانُ مِنَ النَّافِذَةِ.
Smoke came out of the window.
To leave a situation, a state or an obligation; to be clear of it. Said of a difficulty, an illness, a debt.
خَرَجَ التَّاجِرُ مِنَ الْأَزْمَةِ بِسَلَامٍ.
The merchant came out of the crisis unharmed.
With the word “against”, to stop obeying an authority and rise up against it. Said of soldiers, subjects, a group.
خَرَجَ الْجُنُودُ عَلَى قَائِدِهِمْ.
The soldiers rebelled against their commander.
