Orphan
A child whose father has died. The child is called so until reaching adulthood.
يَعِيشُ الْيَتِيمُ مَعَ جَدَّتِهِ فِي الْقَرْيَةِ.
The orphan lives with his grandmother in the village.
It is said of a thing that stands alone of its kind, with nothing like it or beside it. It is used of a rare object or of the only specimen of something.
